RAINBOW BOMBS
(GAME CREATED IN GGJ 2014)
Game created in The Global Game Jam 2014, Dublin, 24 - 26 January. We had 48 hours and "mad" theme of that GAME JAM was: "WE DON'T SEE THINGS AS THEY ARE, WE SEE THINGS AS WE ARE" to complete project. Our team were three people: Warren Gill, Ahmed Elsabban and Oleksandr Chepyha.
Plot:
"There's a philosophical yet mad bomber on the loose and he's killed all of the bomb squad. He sends the police his calling card after every "Rainbow Bomb" has claimed another victim and it always reads "We don't see things as they are, we see things as we are". Nobody has been successful in cracking his riddle. You're being trained, at a secret location in the desert, to decipher his "Rainbow Bombs" using a prototype Robot developed by the Japanese army. You must complete 12 obstacle courses in the fastest time possible, all while avoiding the mad bomber's notorious fake bombs, if you want the job and save thousands from this crazed maniac. ..... We designed the tracks with the theme in mind. Meaning we gave the player more than one way to look at them and allow them to decide the fastest way to complete the levels. We also tried to play with the colours and tie them to the theme also."
